Eight classes, sized to the luggage
Seat counts mislead. A vehicle that seats four rarely carries four people’s checked bags, which is why the capacities below are quoted for full-size cases rather than for cabin bags.
Business Sedan
The default for a single traveller or a pair. Quiet cabin, full-size boot, and the class most corporate travel policies are written around.
Typical vehicles: Cadillac XTS, Lincoln Continental, BMW 5 Series
up to 3 passengers 2 full-size cases
First Class Sedan
Long-wheelbase flagship saloons with reclining rear seats. What we send when the passenger will be working, sleeping or arriving to be seen.
Typical vehicles: Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Audi A8 L
up to 3 passengers 3 full-size cases
Business SUV
The workhorse of airport and port transfers. Room for a family's luggage or a small crew's equipment without a second vehicle.
Typical vehicles: Chevrolet Suburban, Cadillac XT6, Volvo XC90
up to 5 passengers 5 full-size cases
First Class SUV
Full-size luxury SUVs with captain's chairs. The standard request for principals, touring artists and production executives.
Typical vehicles: Cadillac Escalade ESV, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Range Rover
up to 5 passengers 5 full-size cases
Executive Van
Conference seating, tables and power. Moves a whole deal team between meetings while they keep working.
Typical vehicles: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit Executive
up to 7 passengers 7 full-size cases
Sprinter Shuttle
Crew, delegate and wedding-guest shuttling on repeating loops between hotel, venue and terminal.
Typical vehicles: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter high-roof, Ford Transit 15
up to 14 passengers 14 full-size cases
Mini Coach
Reclining coach seats and under-floor luggage for squads, choirs and incentive groups on longer legs.
Typical vehicles: Grech Motors, Turtle Top, Executive Mini Bus
up to 28 passengers 28 full-size cases
Motor Coach
Full-size touring coaches with washroom and Wi-Fi for conference, cruise-pier and stadium movements.
Typical vehicles: Prevost, MCI J4500, Van Hool
up to 56 passengers 56 full-size cases
Sizing
How to choose without getting it wrong
Most disappointing transfers are a sizing failure. Use the table below to translate what you are actually carrying into the bag count we quote against.
| What you are carrying | Counts as |
|---|---|
| Full-size checked case (26–30 inch) | 1 bag |
| Cabin bag or backpack | Free — rides on a lap or in the footwell |
| Golf bag | 2 bags |
| Ski or snowboard bag | 2 bags, and needs an SUV or larger |
| Folding pushchair | 1 bag |
| Cello or large instrument case | 2 bags, plus a seat if it cannot lie flat |
| Camera or lighting case | 2 bags — give us the count for production work |
| Child seat (fitted by us) | Occupies a passenger seat, no luggage cost |
When in doubt, tell us the bags, not the class
Give a coordinator a passenger count and a bag count and we will pick the vehicle. Getting this wrong at the kerb costs an hour and a second car; getting it right at the quote costs nothing.
