Terms of service
The commercial terms that apply when you book with us. Written to be read, not to be survived.
Last updated 14 October 2026.
1. Who you are contracting with
Your contract is with GlobalBlackCarServices.com. Where a journey is performed by an affiliate operator, we remain your point of contact and remain responsible to you for the service standard set out here.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quoted fares are all-inclusive of tolls, standard parking, the waiting allowance in clause 4 and gratuity, unless the quote says otherwise. A quote is valid for seven days or until the travel date, whichever comes first.
Charges may be added only for: waiting beyond the allowance; additional stops not in the booking; a vehicle class upgrade you request or that your luggage requires; extraordinary cleaning; and airport or venue access fees that are itemised at the time of quoting. We do not apply surge or demand multipliers after a booking is confirmed.
3. Booking and confirmation
A booking exists when we send a written confirmation. Requests submitted through the online booker are normally confirmed immediately; complex or multi-vehicle work is confirmed by a coordinator.
4. Waiting times
- Address pickups: 15 minutes from the booked time.
- Domestic airport arrivals: 45 minutes from actual landing.
- International airport arrivals: 60 minutes from actual landing.
- Cruise terminal pickups: 60 minutes from the vessel’s clearance.
- Private aviation: 30 minutes from actual block-in.
Beyond the allowance, waiting bills in 15-minute increments at the applicable hourly rate. Where you supply a flight, tail or vessel number we track it, and a carrier delay moves the pickup at no charge.
5. Cancellations and no-shows
Sedans and SUVs: free cancellation more than 4 hours before pickup. Inside 4 hours, or once a chauffeur has been dispatched, the full fare applies. Vans, coaches, event programmes and multi-vehicle bookings carry longer notice periods stated on that quote.
If you cannot be located and have not made contact after the waiting allowance expires, the booking is treated as a no-show and charged in full. Please call rather than let the clock run.
6. Luggage and capacity
Capacities published on the fleet page are maximums and cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. If the luggage presented does not fit the booked vehicle, we will arrange an additional or larger vehicle where possible and charge accordingly. Telling us the bag count at booking avoids this entirely.
7. Child passengers
Child seats are supplied on request and fitted before dispatch. You must tell us the age and weight of each child so the correct stage of seat is installed. Where local law requires a child restraint and none has been requested, the chauffeur may decline to carry the child.
8. Conduct
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicle. Alcohol may only be consumed where local law allows it in a licensed vehicle. A chauffeur may end a journey where a passenger is abusive, unsafe or damaging the vehicle; the full fare remains payable and a cleaning or damage charge may apply.
9. Delays outside our control
We plan realistic margins and monitor conditions, but we are not liable for losses caused by traffic, weather, road closures, border delays, industrial action, acts of government or other events beyond our reasonable control. Where such an event prevents the journey, we refund what you have paid for the unperformed part.
10. Liability
All vehicles carry commercial insurance at or above the minimum required in the jurisdiction of operation. Our liability for any single booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking, except where the law does not permit that limit — in particular for death or personal injury caused by negligence, which is not excluded or limited in any way.
Property left in a vehicle is returned where we can identify the owner; we are not liable for items left behind, and delivery of recovered property may be charged at cost.
11. Payment
Card payment is taken at booking through our booking provider. Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly on agreed terms; overdue invoices may attract interest at the statutory rate.
12. Complaints
Email support@globalblackcarservices.com within 30 days of the journey. We acknowledge within one business day and aim to resolve within ten. If an affiliate operator performed the journey, we still handle the complaint.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of Ontario have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
