Business aviation runs on its own clock and its own access rules. We coordinate with your handler directly, track the tail number rather than a flight number, and have the car staged before the aircraft blocks in.
Ramp access, honestly explained
Ramp-side or lobby-side — and why it is not our decision
Every operator promises “planeside” pickup. Whether it actually happens is decided by the airport authority and the fixed-base operator, not by the car company.
Where ramp access is granted
The vehicle is escorted airside and positioned at the aircraft steps. This needs an approved driver, a vehicle permit and, at most fields, an escort from the FBO. We arrange it in advance through your handler — it cannot be organised on the day.
Where it is not
The chauffeur waits in the FBO lounge and walks you to the car, typically thirty seconds from the door. Plenty of well-known fields simply do not grant ramp access to third-party vehicles, and no supplier can change that.
What we tell you
Which of the two applies at your specific field, confirmed in writing before departure. That is the part most operators leave vague, and it is the part that determines what actually happens when you land.
