Cruise and seaport transfers at 148 terminals

A pier is not an airport. Berthing slips, tender ports, terminal reassignments and customs halls all move your pickup — so we work to the vessel, not to the clock you booked against.

Why pier work is different

Four things that go wrong at a cruise terminal, and how we handle them

Your terminal is not the one on the ticket

Large ports run several terminals and reassign vessels at short notice — PortMiami and Barcelona both do it routinely. We confirm the berth against the port’s own schedule on the morning of travel and reposition the chauffeur without asking you to.

Disembarkation runs late, not early

Clearance, colour-coded luggage groups and immigration mean the published all-ashore time is a starting gun, not an arrival time. Pier pickups carry a sixty-minute waiting allowance measured from the vessel’s actual clearance, not from your booking.

Cruise luggage does not fit a sedan

Two people on a fourteen-night sailing routinely travel with four large cases plus carry-ons. We size the vehicle to the bags rather than the headcount, which is why most pier bookings go out as an SUV or a van even for a couple.

Embarkation has a hard cut-off

Miss the muster and the ship sails. For embarkation we build the journey backwards from the boarding deadline with a contingency margin, and on long transfers we will recommend an earlier departure than you asked for — and tell you why.

Transfers run in both directions: hotel or airport to pier for embarkation, and pier to airport, hotel or home on disembarkation. Shore-excursion day hire is booked as hourly chauffeured service instead.

Cruises, flights and hotels through the travel desk

Most cruise passengers fly in the day before and stay a night near the port. Our travel desk at BookingWorldwide.net books the sailing, the flight and the pre-cruise hotel, so the pier transfer on this page is timed against real confirmed times rather than an estimate.
